In Memory of Ralph Caramanica ( USTM Supporter, Fellow Trance Lover )

May 16, 2010

I met Ralph at Marco V party @ Pacha NYC a few months back, this dude really knew how to party, and make everyone around him feel the energy. Was not only a lover of edm music, but a great friend to everyone in the edm community, its really sad how the good ones die young!. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN ! I dedicate this post to you brother ! keep raving up in heaven and look down on us everyday.! – Doug on behalf of the United States Trance Movement

From Facebook Event:
When I first met Ralph I never saw anyone as excited as he was about Electronic Music. Not only was he always in high spirits but his excitement showed in his eyes the thrill of hearing his favorite artists and being able to be around a community of people who also shared the same love…

I met him at Electric Zoo Festival, which was his first massive and a year later he finally got to experience Ultra Music Festival . He was always supportive of the music, the artists, and the love he shared for them he also shared with his close friends and even strangers. It is hard to swallow that we’ve lost Ralph to such a tragic reason and at such a young age… but I know that Ralph would only want to go with the thrill of hitting the next biggest party or hearing the next big track that made him jump up and cheer for excitement…

He supported me as a DJ and showed up to any event I was doing and I feel very lucky to have known him even for such a short period. I dedicate this page to him and I wish that his friends and his family will join and talk about their experiences with ralph and share the good times and photos.

Ralph like any other individual in this community understood the meaning of PLUR and as the creator of PLUR Project I wish to send him one last farewell as a group and as a community who also shares the same love of the music.

Even if you didn’t know Ralph many of us know of the same people who felt and did the same things he did… Ralph is not the only one that has been lost within this scene and I wish for all of you who have lost a loved one to join us in mourning and to also not forget the good times and experiences we’ve shared.

I would personally like to devote and plan an event in the future if I can gather enough people and find a place to give Ralph one last party. If anyone would like to help me with this project and can relate please let me know. I know this is probably how Ralph would of wanted it.. I promised him a special set… and I want him to hear it from above…. R.I.P Ralph Caramanica 5/14/2010
