This month’s challenge has participating DJs compete for a brand new Pioneer DJM-2000 mixer, and a pair of HDJ-2000 and HDJ-1000 headphones! Get started today, you have untill October 15th to reach the contests most important goal – achieve the 50 vote minimum.
Register to Letsmix.com, upload a 25-40 minute mix on the theme “Pioneer Basement Tracks”. This time around we’re looking for the toughest, most sweat-inducing mix that our users could possibly throw at us. Remember keep it personal, have us connect with what you’re doing. This is achieved partly by typing out what went into your track selection, the idea for the mix and the individual songs. As usual, keep the mixing precise. Make the track selection something special. The competition is open to all genres of music.

Proceed to spread your mix widely to have your friends and fans listen to your mix and vote. October 15th, all mixes to have reached a 50 vote minimum (qualifiers) will be reviewed by a jury of Pioneer DJ and Letsmix.com representatives. Together the jury will hand pick the winning submission.
While the total number of votes, average voting score and number of plays will provide the judges with some guidance to what submissions go well with the audience, it’s mostly up to your mix to make an impact on the judges!
