There’s been an awakening, Have you felt it? I sure have. For the second year in a row I find myself coming across tracks that remind of the early rave days. If you haven’t noticed already a hard trance revolution has been brewing the past two years beside the ever growing psy-trance & tech-trance movements. The sound that got me into trance in the late 90s was of the course the harder side of trance. It really makes me smile to see upcoming superstar producers & labels kicking it into overdrive. I honestly lost touch with the progressive side of trance and uplifting side of trance as it feels to me just recycled and same sound. Very select producers are waving the flag on each. Below you can find my favorite tracks of this year which include hard trance, uplifting, and psytrance. It was a really tough decision to condense my favorites into such a small list. In a few days we will release a mega mix with more of our favorite tunes of the year. Cheers!
