Jerzy Gronostalski, aka DJ TranceIsland, was born and raised in Southern Poland. Starting at thirteen years old, he DJ-ed school dances. At the time, he used a reel-to-reel tape recorders – if you can believe that. He grew up listening to Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Klaus Shulze.
At twenty-one he “found himself” living in California’s Bay Area and his career path took him in the direction of technology and computers. While there, he also performed as a mobile DJ for weddings and parties. At that time he mainly played Modern Rock and New Age; artists like Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order and many others influenced him.
His love of nineties music transformed into Electronic Dance Music by 1995 with artists like Paul Oakenfold, David Seamen, and others using Global Underground music label were his main influence. After taking a break, he return in 2002 performing for youth dances and playing some the top 40 mixed with House and Trance music. After a couple of years, however, the drive toward Trance music became too strong and Jerzy migrated to playing trance and progressive music exclusively. Artists like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Roger Shah influenced him.

Tasadi has been captivating audiences for over a decade with a variety of talents, demonstrating his unbelievable insight and skills as a producer, remixer, engineer, radio host, and even label manager.
Already duly noted by several of dance music’s elite, such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, and Paul Van Dyk, Tasadi takes his passion for heavily rhythmic and melodically intense music and molds it into his own unique-sounding electronic blend that pushes all boundaries.

Mike “Puff” Pipitone

Mike “Puff” Pipitone, is a DJ and composer and is currently based in Brooklyn, New York where his love of music and all it has to offer isn’t just limited to his home borough, but rather the Big Apple as a whole. Michael is a self-taught DJ and electronic music producer. Michael was introduced to music at the tender age of 10 when he was introduced to both the piano and violin which helped give him a great appreciation and understanding of music and how to compose as well as just listen to different sounds they both created. He has been professionally working in music since the age of 15. Since Michael has been a part of the New York City club scene since he was 16, being in that environment really gave Michael an education in not only the music production aspect, but also the business end as well. As a producer, he learns how to mix his favorite styles of music with his own personal experiences to give his audience a great treat to the ears. Michael mainly incorporates the styles of trance and it’s variations in his music, he tries to have his listeners take the same musical journey as him when they listen. With such influences as DJ Tiesto, DJ Scot Project and Dumonde it is clear to hear where Michael goes creatively. In addition to his main love of trance, he also likes to dabble in all the sounds that rock, hip-hop and popular music have to offer. In 2007, Pipitone and musical partner and collaborator Lou Aiese formed Valor Recordings, which gives both men full creative control and the opportunity to play by their rules when it comes to the music and their creative minds. Valor Recordings is a definite force to be reckoned with in the electronica music genre. Michael’s greatest passion is nurturing and perfecting his talent as well as teaching and creating with future musical prospects. He is in the process of experimenting with other genres of music with hopes of creating a new genre set to his own standards within the music industry.

Reen (TJ Windsor) Annapolis, MD
Reen’s love for dance music started back in 1997 when he attended a rock concert in which The Prodigy headlined. After seeing them perform, it was then that his musical taste completely shifted to the dance music scene. It wasn’t until 2006, however, that the motivation for becoming a DJ finally took over. After attending his first Winter Music Conference event in Miami, FL, he decided it was now his time to become a DJ. He bought a pair of Pioneer CDJ’s and developed his skills early on by spinning electro, progressive & trance. After spending a few years DJing locally, his love for uplifting & progressive trance fully took over. Currently, he is developing his talents on the producing end of the spectrum while also hosting 2 radio shows which are broadcast worldwide.

DJ Neil Zaken (New York City)
Neil Zaken a.k.a. DJ Zaken is a 23-year-old New York native. During his last year of studies at the University at Buffalo, Neil bought DJ equipment and began compiling mixes. His admiration for trance music sparked his interest in DJing. At first, he began using virtual DJ on his laptop and he eventually purchased a Hercules RMX midi mixer. Eventually his passion for DJ-ing became more intensified and his mixes began gaining more attention. This led to his most recent purchase, Pioneer CDJ’s and a Pioneer DJM mixer. Although he has only been mixing for a little over a year, DJ Zaken recently had the opportunity to DJ at Pacha NYC, and his goal is to become more proficient so that his mixes will eventually capture the hearts of more people.
Neil would love to take over the trance music scene in New York City. Being influenced by artists such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Max Graham, Paul Van Syk, Sean Tyas, Guiseppe Ottaviani, and Simon Patterson, has led him to idolize these artists. His dream is to one day be able to mix in front of large crowds such as the crowds his idols get to mix in front of, and he hopes that 2011 will be a big stepping stone towards that goal. He enjoys seeing the expressions people have on their faces when dancing to the music he is mixing his favorite trance and progressive tracks.
It is clear that DJ Zaken’s short run is only the beginning of what is sure to be a long journey. His next interest is to begin producing in order to gain more knowledge of the music, and eventually create beats that will be pumping in clubs for years to come.

DJ Spector ( Los Angeles )
DJ Spector started listening to Electronic Dance Music in 1999 when he moved to New York City. Early influences were Alice DJ, ATB, and especially Paul Oakenfold on the Radio 1 Essential Mix World Tour. He fell in love with House music during his brief stay in Florence, and got his first set of turntables in 2002, mixing the likes of Mark Farina, Danny Taneglia, and Roger Sanchez.
In early 2004, DJ Spector got back in touch with his true musical love: Trance. He has since been tearing it up with uplifting, progressive, bassline driven trance. Influences are Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Myon & Shane 54, and way too many others to name.
DJ Spector believes, trance speaks to the heart and connects you to the spirit of the universe. There is no feeling in the world like when you favorite track is about to peak, bassline ready to drop, and the club is waiting in anticipation..
