DJ Agni (Daniel Jenkins) is an Icelandic-born trance and progressive DJ, popular in the Orlando dance music scene for his uplifting and crowd-pleasing sets.
Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, but now based in Orlando, Florida, DJ Agni is an aspiring producer and DJ of trance and progressive music. He comes from a diverse musical background, including influences from Florida breakbeats and soulful house. His first EDM memory is of Chicane’s Saltwater at the age of 12 from one of his brothers CD’s. However, Agni did not realize his musical passion until his early 20s after listening to a few episodes of A State of Trance that a friend gave him, then after seeing Armin van Buuren live he became passionate about the ability to evoke such strong emotions in listeners with just vibrations of sound created electronically.
DJ Agni’s strongest musical influences span from the likes of uplifting trance DJs and producers such as Armin van Buuren and Robert Nickson to progressive heavyweights such as EDX, George Acosta and the amazing duo that makes up Inpetto also known as Trance duo
Duderstadt. Agni releases a monthly mix/podcast series entitled Conscious Vibrations. He hopes to use music as a platform to enlighten listeners of the shift in consciousness that is taking place on the planet, and chose the name Agni due to its Indian Sanskrit meaning: Fire.
Agni has had to transcend many boundaries throughout his life, being both black and white; American and Icelandic. After listening to Dance music for many years he realized that it has such an amazing ability to unite people from all walks of life in such a positive way. He hopes that through his Djing and upcoming productions, he can spread the love of positive and beautiful music throughout the world. Keep your ears and eyes open for this newcomer!

Akeed ( Arlington, VA )
Hassan Elhassan (Akeed) was born in Lebanon, Beirut on August 23, 1988. He
left to the United States/ Virginia when he was fourteen years old, and
currently lives there. Akeed always had the passion for music since he was
a kid. He played the tabla instrument and a little bit of piano. Next to
where he used to live back home, his neighbor was a dj and once watched
him perform a set for a party. He thought djing was pretty cool, switching
cassettes and not leaving caps between tracks. As well as of how his
neighbor was matching songs together. In 2005, Akeed started listening to dance/electronic music, and really
loved it. He was listening to Trance all day long and learning about the
genre more and more every day. In 2007, He met Danko Drincic at a soccer
game, and talked about their passion and love to dance music. He told him
that he was really good at a dj software called “Virtual DJ”, and Danko
used to produce beats for fun using a program called “Fruity Loops”. So,
they decided to team up and start their own music production group called
“D&H Project”.The first track they made was called “A New Beginning”, and created their
MySpace page on 4/23/2007. After that, they were doing great and getting
better and better. By the end of year 2007, they had over 3000 fans, and
15000 plays. In the beginning of year 2008, some things didn’t work out between Danko
and Hassan, so they decided to split and just start on their own
separately. Now, Hassan goes by the name of “Akeed” which means in Arabic
“For Sure”. Since then, Akeed been getting lots of support from friends
and fans. Also, been blazing up the charts on RevebNation, Myspace and
other sites! As well as, broadcasting his weekly radio show “Personal
Status” that is about playing the latest and hottest tracks from Trance
and Progressive House Live on air on WGMU Radio or through his own website

Blake Jarrell ( Chicago, Illinois )
The past two years have brought this extraordinary young artist a plethora of serious achievements. From his ongoing summer residency at the legendary Amnesia club in Ibiza, to a 40 country world tour to complement his successful 2-disc DJ mixed compilation for the Armada Dancefloor Sessions series. Blake Jarrell is one of the fastest rising stars in the dance music industry today. It is hard to believe that just a few years ago Blake’s fortunes we’re anything but good. Blake arrived in his adopted hometown of Chicago in 2005 shortly after packing up all his belongings and fleeing the Mississippi Delta from the menace of Hurricane Katrina. The Windy City’s vibrant electronic music community embraced Blake’s natural fan making ability and he was making waves in no time.
Blake quickly rose through the ranks of local jocks and a big break was just ahead. Some high profile bookings brought on a chance meeting with Armada Music’s head aficionado Armin Van Buuren. After listening to a few of his original productions, Armin contacted Blake and soon after he joined the Armada artist roster. Since that time Armin has invited Blake on several of his world tours as an exclusive special guest performer. Finally, Blake cemented his relationship with Armada Music when he joined a select group of international stars for full summer residencies at Armada’s weekly shindig at Amnesia in Ibiza in 2007 and 2008.
Battle tested indeed, after traveling to over 90 cities, the New Orleans kid turned Chicago hometown heavyweight remains busy and is looking to climb further up the DJ charts with an intense schedule of original productions and remixes. Blake’s studio skills are what earned him an undisputed reputation and his creativity is enjoyed and heavily supported by Markus Schulz, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong, Matthew Dekay, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and of course Armin Van Buuren.
Blake recalls his 2008 hit Punta del Este and his remix of Moussa Clark’s She Wants Him as just some of the highlights of his young career. The former was featured on Armin Van Buuren’s acclaimed A State of Trance 2008 compilation, and the latter held the #1 position on Beatport’s trance charts for several weeks.
It is this blistering pace of success that has kept Blake grounded which explains his dedication to expanding his monthly radio show Concentrate. The show continues to evolve and reach new audiences by featuring signature mix sets from Blake Jarrell and special international guests. He believes in his fans immensely and works tirelessly to give back to the people that have supported him and his records.
Blake is set to kick off 2009 with an international tour in the better part of February in support of his upcoming project for Armada Music. A unique compilation that will feature some of Blake’s original work as well as high profile remixes.
Brad Miller ( New York, NY )

People who’ve known me for a long time aren’t the least bit surprised at where I’ve ended up. I’m the guy who had a stack of concert tickets a foot tall who spent most of his youth at the local rock venue. No matter what day of the week it was, or what time I had to get up in the morning, I was always out listening out the newest band in town. This love for music and the live medium itself led me to become immersed in the electronic music scene from the start.
After spending countless nights in the clubs of Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland amazed by this new electronic sound, six years ago I picked up my first pair of turntables and went to work. Over the first year I honed my technique through numerous house parties with DJ Dawnstealer at our very own “Fluid Nights,” which eventually led to my involvement with the local radio station KUPS 90.1FM.
From this opportunity I spent the next two years as host of “KUPS In The Mix” where I provided Seattle with a weekly dose of my unique style and sound, brought in the best local and global talent for guest mixes, and aired unprecedented non-stop marathon mixes of 6, 8, and 12 hour sets. From the show I got my first break into the nightclub circuit, and soon after was spinning at clubs such as Contour, Watertown, and The Last Supper Club. Building on this momentum I was picked up by the biggest nightclub in Seattle – Trinity, where fellow DJ Jason LeMaitre and I become the first ever electronic residents mixing tagteam sets on a weekly basis.
During this phenomenal experience at Trinity, I began to realize that this was the only industry I would ever be happy in. Embracing this, I decided to pack up everything and drive cross country to New York City to pursue my career on a global scale.
Now a mainstay in the New York City scene, I’ve had the opportunity to play coast to coast alongside DJs such as Ferry Corsten, BT, Hybrid, Marcus Schossow, M.I.K.E., Preach, Seb Fontaine, and Ivano Bellini, in clubs such as Crobar, Sullivan Room, Society, The Union, T, Shelter, The Last Supper Club, Trinity, Porch, and Studio. Reaching beyond the club, my latest endeavor – the Push The Night podcast has been ranked #18 on iTunes and featured on the homepage as one of the most popular podcasts on the site.

Ceaze Amaze ( New York, NY )
What inspires a Ceaz Amaze Set? When you are exposed to it you realize something is happening beyond mere talent being displayed. You begin to find yourself trapped in movement inspired by relentless mixing. His pure creativity and percussion heavy sound is definitely not for those lacking in stamina.Ceaz Amaze began spinning vinyl since the early 80’s being inspired mostly by the electronic sounds of Depeche Mode. His ear for beats extended to other groups and sounds such as: Flock a Seagals, U2, Freestyle, House and the Industrial Techno from the early 90′s and late 80′s. Ceaz Amaze eclectic tastes (within the last 10 years), has also included the sounds of trance which, he has also mastered spinning. However Ceaz Amaze is most especially genius at spinning Tribal Beats. His sharp knowledge of timing and rhythm while mixing records for extended periods of time puts him in a class with very elite company.
There is never a sloppy moment in a Ceaz Amaze set. As you watch him play you know without doubt that this is a man who loves what he is doing. Where as many DJ’s rarely take risks while spinning out of fear of making mistakes in front of large audiences, Ceaz Amaze dives needles first into jaw dropping sessions, weaving challenging mixes together with amazing skill.
When one asks what inspires a Ceaz Amaze set the answer undoubtedly lies in the screams, sweat and smiles of the crowd who remain trapped in their movements inspired by his craftsmanship.

Cyberia is about a very special moment in our recent history — a moment when anything seemed possible. When an entire subculture — like a kid at a rave trying virtual reality for the first time — saw the wild potentials of marrying the latest computer technologies with the most intimately held dreams and the most ancient spiritual truths.
Cyberian Soundz is the name I choose to represent my sound as a DJ and upcoming producer which is soft, sweet, but also energetic dance music, specifically Trance & Progressive with many blends of electro, house, minimal, techno, and deep influences with new styles that are fresh and evolving every time, so do not expect a close format during my sets.
I currently do regular podcasts often every 2 weeks with Guest DJ’s on my SoudnCloud Page: http://soundcloud.com/cyberiansoundz, and also video/audio broadcasts often during the week from my home studio through my own channel Cyberian Soundz Online: www.livestream.com/Cyberian_Soundz.
I was born in Tampa, FL, but raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I moved back to USA-Orlando in 2001 and this is when I was first introduced to Dance Music by my cousin who handed me tapes of Paul Oakenfold’s Transport Album and Tiesto’s Album “Darkside and Brightside” when these two artists where purely underground. The sound was so interesting, energetic, and emotional that I just could not stop looking for such music which led me to artists by the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha and Digweed, and the rest of the trance army.
While being in College, a friend from Japan sold me his Technic Turntable he did not use, and I got my first Gemini Mixer. From there, I got loads of vinyl and started playing as much as I could to learn the basics. I was able to be involved with a true underground scene and play at events both private and public. Family Fuzion, Imagine, and Turntable Massacre underground events series were the start (2001-2003). I got to play with local DJs like Tim Godfryed, DJ Kid Ellipsis, DJ Space Head, Trancelott, Rob Real, and also got in the line-up for a classic event that was going to be organized in its second edition by Orlando’s Trance Legend Mindchime (www.mindchime.com).
I was featured in the documentary “Head Space Movie – The Sound of Life” with several shots at different venues in Orlando-USA.
In the year 2004, I went back to Venezuela and I was impressed with a scene of dance music I did not see while growing up over there. I took the concept from the Imagine series events and Family Fuzion Underground in Florida and established it in Venezuela while discovering an emerging big house scene which influenced my music with electro-minimal sounds and progressive formats. I got involved with High Events, Talent Warehouse, and Groove the DJ School and Cultura Electronica to promote local events and to collaborate with the scene. I then got a residency almost every day at a lounge called Opium in the metropolitan area of Caracas, San Ignacio where I got to experiment with my music and lot. I got to play with excellent local DJ’s such as Reix, Vladd, Benigno, Ada, Walter Ponce, Vicky, DJ Meg, DJ Ele, and many more.
In 2007, I move back to Orlando, FL where I start to get involved with a house scene that was in the rise, got together with Jenna G, Andre Ramos, Leo Montoya, Gino Sutera, and Fobia to promote events and also to get influenced a lot by these different styles of house as well but keeping always my progressive trance sounds as priority. I started a weekly podcast and I got involved with DJ Roxxia from Miami and promoted events at WMC and the Womb Radio.
In 2008 and 2009 a break is taken to re-structure personal life and get things together always keeping music present and planning for the future. Only one mix release called The Music Was Born 2008 at the end of that year marks a statement or presence and summary of sounds which influenced me that year.
2010 is the year where it all comes together again. After 2 years with no releases, the mix compilation “Without Limitations” expresses the deep feeling of progression, euphoria and art of the comeback basically the meaning of no limits to our imagination and what we can be capable of when we pursue a goal in our lives.
The original Unicorn Voices was first released in the year 2005 with a concept which included beautiful vocals along with energizing and uplifting progressive beats. It was then followed by a second chapter of the initial release in 2007 “Unicorn Voices – A Magikal Remake”. After almost three years, Unicorn Voices returns. 2010 Unicorn Voices delivers the warmest, most beautiful and progressive sounds at the moment.
Destiny Mix also comes as an inspiration of breaking ground vocals and a featured guest mix for Destiny Dance Music Series Episodes hosted by Rene Dave Chang as well.
Followed by monthly podcasts and special exclusive mixes with guest DJ’s handpicked from around the world. The Trance Movement Radio show is born, the first guest mix features my friends and future stars from Malaysia TRIMIX by Droolotte Tasha, Samuel Dan, and David Gary) For More Info about TRIMIX, check: http://www.facebook.com/pages/TRIMIX/115990625081656?ref=search
I got also the honor to be a guest on Solar Power Session with the amazing Suzy Solar from Tampa – USA. My mix “Nostalgia” was featured on her radio show that was broadcasted daily for a week in online radio stations worldwide such as www.danceradioglobal.com, www.1mix.co.uk, and www.discovertranceradio.com to name a few.
Nostalgia is a summer mix initially created for the USA Trance Movement website. The United States Trance Movement is also created by my friend from New York, Douglas Marrero (www.usatrancemovement.com) and a partnership is created between this great idea and the many DJ’s, producers, and trance lovers who want this scene to grow bigger in the USA. I am responsible for organizing and pushing forward the Orlando Trance Movement and our group in Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=114126825276504 and every city also continue their local regional trance movements to grow around the USA and the World.
Also, in the year 2010, I got to play with:
• DJ Andres R @ San Alejo Nights @ Los Billares
• Juliet Star, J13, Tein, and Vlad @ http://projectradio.us/.
• Elias R, X-Andy, and Whiplash @ Battle of the DJs Russian Night ICEBAR, where I got 2nd place and I was the only one who played Trance.
• Stan A & Loco Aragon @ SENSO SUPPERCLUB in Downtown Orlando as a resident for the Russian Standard Tuesdays.
• DJ Robb Blak and Agni @ Bikkuri Sushi Lounge “Lost In Trancelation” as a resident as well and promoter for the night. This is the only all trance night event there is in Orlando.
• DJ X-Andy , Sher-Khan, and Stan A @ ICEBAR for Russian Siberian Nights every other Friday.
• Yamil Lugo @ Underground Events.
Also I already started working on my first productions this year, and my first track is coming up soon! So this should be really interesting!!!

Danny Shoc ( Patterson, NY )

Growing up in the Bronx, Danny first heard electronic dance music when he was just a freshman in high school and attended his first night club event. From then on he was hooked; the sounds begged him to come back week after week as this was his only outlet to hear this type of music. After struggling to identify the specific sub-genre of EDM which he liked most of all, Danny realized his music of choice was trance. He began following world renown DJs such as the legendary Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Above & Beyond. Wanting to channel his creativity and develop his own mixes, Danny began using mixing software on his computer when he was just sixteen years old. As he got older and his love for the music grew while pursuing a career in hockey, he bought his own digital turntables at the age of 22. It was during this time that Danny switched gears and developed a passion for House Music. Now at age 25, Danny has become an aspiring DJ, spinning tracks at venues such as PACHA in NYC and Bianco on Long Island, NY. Danny’s monthly “Clubbin in NY” Podcast consists of an hour long mix of the latest house and trance tracks. Named after the types of music he has heard while out clubbing in NY, this podcast has made it to the top 100 on Itunes. Coming out later this year, Danny will release his first production. He’s excited to build his fan base and continue on his path to becoming an acclaimed DJ.
